There she sleeps
A tired
Ruthless
innocent
mythical beast.
selfishly giving,
therefore with all her flaws and foes
tenderly displeased

seeking redemption
in her angel sleep
her untold silent selfishness
unknown to man
except to the kind of his
an unforgiven pause
off too much to please

there he is
dead as usual
looks vulnerable in his short,
alert brief sleeps..
